Connie Coleman Fine Jewelry
An irresistible gemstone, an ancient technique, Art Nouveau design, and the discovery of her creative process inspire Connie's experimentation with asymmetry, balance, form, texture and color. She's interested in the challenge of incorporating sculptural qualities with unusual materials, methods,
forms or gemstones into a finished piece.
After 17 years of study, with such Vermont metal-smiths as Timothy Grannis, Laurie Peters, and Jacob Albee, she furthers her adventure as a designer metal-smith. Connie was born and raised on the pristine coast of Maine. She later moved to Vermont and earned her Studio Art/Psychology degree from the University of Vermont. Besides getting her hands dirty making jewelry, she finds joy in gardening, baking delectable treats, and time with her children, Isa and Noah, and her husband, Aaron.

Timothy Grannis Collection: It is with incredible honor and a full heart that I can personally support the continuation of Timothy Grannis' jewelry collection at Alchemy. Susan Hurd, Timothy's partner, has asked that I continue to fabricate many of Timothy Grannis' beautiful jewelry designs. I trained as an apprentice with Timothy for 10 years and have made many of his beautiful works of art for over 17 years. Timothy's spirit will continue to be present and honored at Alchemy and it is my true honor to keep his beautiful legacy alive.
